Fair is foul and foul is fair

Standard

I have been super busy lately, organising an office event about fairness. Don’t even ask. Since it happened today, and went very well, I have a couple of celebratory quotes to share…

Henry V:

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;

Or close the wall up with our English dead.

In peace there’s nothing so becomes a man

As modest stillness and humility;

But when the blast of war blows in our ears,

Then imitate the action of the tiger:

Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,

Disguise fair nature with hard-favour’d rage

Much Ado About Nothing:

Why, i’ faith, methinks she’s too low for a high praise, too brown for a fair praise, and too little for a great praise. Only this commendation I can afford her, that were she other than she is, she were unhandsome, and being no other but as she is, I do not like her.

Mainly, they are an excuse for this…
